KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR - CONTRACTOR SURVEY
Organisational Survey - 2013

1. This survey is administered annually and seeks information about your firm for the sole purpose of creating key performance indicators (KPIs). All information will be kept strictly confidential and anonymised.

2. If parts of this survey would be better completed by a colleague, click 'Save and Continue' at the bottom of the screen and forward the email you receive to your colleague.

3. KPIs are tools used by construction firms to benchmark their companies or projects against the range of performance being achieved across the industry. The information can help firms identify strengths and weaknesses and assist them in employing a strategy of continuous improvement.

4. The KPI survey has been running for 14 years, enabling construction industry organisations and the Government to measure the industry's improvement over time by comparing performance year on year.

5. This is a voluntary survey. All information collected from this survey will be treated in the strictest confidence and will be used only for the production of the KPIs and further analysis thereof. All information will be anonymised and combined with the information from many other companies prior to the production of the KPIs. No information from an individual contractor, consultant or subcontractor will be recognisable in the published KPIs.

6. Glenigan will be managing the data collection for this survey.

8. Construction Industry KPIs, which summarise the results of the KPI Surveys, are published annually at www.kpizone.com, and are also available from glenigan.com or constructingexcellence.org.uk. All respondents will be sent a copy of the final research.

9. As well as helping to improve the UK's construction industry performance, respondents completing the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a free ipad, which will be presented around the publication of the Construction Industry KPIs in Autumn 2014.
