Intro

Hello!

Welcome to this 2-part project:

Part 1 - Today

A short survey about your gaming, streaming media and social media habits (6 mins). This will earn you 200 MSR.

Part 2 - We will follow up

You will then be asked to complete 3 or 4 Retro tasks, based on your answers to the survey. A Retro task requires you to screen record information on your phone and upload the video file. We turn the video into de-identified data so your privacy is fully protected.

What's up for grabs

Each Retro task will earn you 100-150 MSR points for an upload that meets our criteria (we check them after the upload). If you do all the Retros in this project you will earn 200 MSR bonus points. You could earn between 850 and 1,000 points for this project.

You must complete the entire project and provide valid data to qualify for your incentive. Once you have completed the project, please allow up to 5 working days for us to validate your response.

This is a new survey type we think you are going to enjoy!

You must be on your primary iOS mobile device to do this project. If you are not you will not be able to complete it.

This is a 2-part project:

Part 1

Part 2

You will then immediately be asked to complete 3 data tasks, based on your answers to the survey. A data task requires you to screen record information on your phone and upload the video file. We turn the video into de-identified data so your privacy is fully protected.

The data tasks in this project are:

Share your Screen Time history (3-10 mins depending on upload speed)

Share your phone storage (3-10 mins depending on upload speed)

Share your Homescreen layout (3-10 mins depending on upload speed)

The time to do a data task largely depends on your internet connection as you will be asked to upload at least 1 screen recording (video file). Please be patient during the upload process.

How do you complete a data task?

Our data tasks are quick and easy, all you need to do is upload a 'screen record' following the instructions we will provide. More information will be included in the survey.

How will my data be used?

Your data will be used for research purposes only. Our client interested in analyzing how users engage with video content online

NO personal data is shared such as name, email, social media handles etc.

All the data is pooled together and analyzed on an aggregate level, you will not be personally identifiable from the data that is shared
*
Any personal information is stripped before we process the data file
