Explanation and Purpose of Survey
You are being asked to participate in the American Society of Anesthesiologists
® (ASA
®) 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting Survey, coordinated by Avenue M Group. The survey questions focus on your experiences at this and other meetings. Whether you attended ANESTHESIOLOGY
® 2020 or not, your feedback is critical and will allow us to enhance the experience of future ANESTHESIOLOGY annual meetings.
Description of Procedures
As a participant in this study, you will be asked to complete a survey. We anticipate it will take approximately 15 minutes of your time. The survey will ask you questions about your demographics, profession, membership in ASA, perception of ASA and opinions about the association, its benefits, value and specifically the virtual annual meeting. Additionally, we are interested in how you select and prepare for attending an event, what challenges or barriers may hinder or prevent you from attending, and how you perceive the value and attributes of virtual events.
This survey is being conducted by Avenue M Group, an independent market research firm working with ASA to produce this study.
Participation and Benefits
Participation in this study is voluntary. At any point, you may click the link provided at the beginning and end of this survey to provide your name and email address to enter a drawing for a chance to win an eGift card. Twenty individuals will be selected by random to receive a $25 Amazon
® eGift card. Entering the drawing is free – you do not need to make any purchase or attend an ASA meeting in order to participate, nor will doing so increase your odds of winning. One entry per person only. Entries must be received by October 26, 2020 in order to qualify. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Avenue M Group and ASA are not responsible or liable for any entries not received by the deadline. Personal information will only be utilized in order to notify prize winners. The potential winners will be notified via email message by early November.
