What is teen-SPARC? Teen-SPARC is an Excel tool designed to help public health jurisdictions and other entities explore the potential impact of behavior change on reducing sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among the sexually active high-school-attending adolescent population.The tool and manual are available at
http://campmodeling.org/teensparc. The teen-SPARC tool integrates data from the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) and can also be useful to jurisdictions who do not have local YRBS data, and who either have alternative data sources or who wish to explore what-if scenarios.
What is this survey for? We have designed this survey in order to learn more about the community of active and potential users for teen-SPARC. We are particularly interested in how people have used the tool so far, how they might envision using it in the future, what barriers they may have faced, and what additional features they would like to see added.
