Understanding Family Life and the Role of Technology in the Context of COVID-19
Thank you for your interest in our research study on family technology use during COVID-19. We are looking to understand how families are balancing many different needs and which resources they are using, given the new increased reliance on technology. By participating, you will have a chance to share your challenges, strategies and resources for balancing work-related changes, school, care-taking, and more. You will also be informing the design of solutions for families to manage competing needs for future extraordinary circumstances. This study involves enrolling in a private online group and sharing stories, photos, or videos to answer these prompts. This data would be anonymized if it is shared publicly. We are primarily recruiting families with at least one child between the ages of 3 and 13 and encourage participation by as many family members as possible.
You do not have to answer any questions you do not want to answer. However, you may not be able to participate if you do not answer all of the questions. After filling out this 10 minute survey, you will hear from our research team about whether you qualify to participate in this study and next steps for enrolling.
