Very soon, VetNurse.co.uk will launch VetNurse Expert Forums, designed to be a more professional, more accountable and more transparent way for the profession to share information and knowledge.
In these new Q&A style forums, all members can post a question, but only those designated as an EXPERT can reply.
Whenever someone marks an Expert's reply as the answer to their question, the answer can now have the Expert's logo and contact details embedded within it.
Experts from veterinary nursing training establishments can use it to promote their organisation. Likewise veterinary nurse experts from referral practices can use it to promote their referral services. Others might like to use it to promote their practice as a nice place to work.
Recognition for your help is one reason for being a VetNurse Expert. The other is that I'll be offering prizes for the Experts who give the most helpful answers (we'll be running leaderboards).
All in all, the aim is to make this the most professional, fun way for veterinary nurses, students and assistants to learn from each other.
What's more, you'll be able to claim it as CPD time too. For FREE!
If you would like to be a VetNurse Expert, please enrol here. You will need to be:
- A registered veterinary nurse, qualified at least 5 years, or
- A teacher at a recognised veterinary nurse training centre, or
- Responsible for training veterinary nurses at an approved training practice
and
- Hold an advanced qualification, or be able to demonstrate considerable experience in one of the areas listed below.
VetNurse Experts will need to complete their VetNurse profiles (displaying when and where qualified, and any postnominals) and subscribe to their chosen area of expertise. Then, when alerted of new questions, all you need to do is drop in and answer, as and when and if time permits.
If you'd like to be an expert member, please complete the form below.
