The LEAP program aims to recruit, train, and support educators to run for elected or appointed office in the future. The ultimate goal of the program is to elevate the teaching profession and improve student outcomes by ensuring that there are decision-makers at every level who carry the perspectives, experiences, and values teachers hold.

4. The cohort will launch on Friday, October 11 and meet one Saturday a month from 9 am - 4 pm from October - March. Can you make this time commitment? Do you perceive any potential barriers to fully committing to this experience?

5. The fellowship will include the following components:

- Monthly knowledge and skill-building sessions
- Mentorship opportunity with a community leader following the fellowship (starting in May 2020)
- A fundraising requirement (you will be asked to build fundraising skill by calling your personal networks to make an ask)
- A final reflection project (you will be asked to develop a presentation at the end of the fellowship sharing where you plan to go in your leadership journey)
