Funding is available to PhD students and possibly post docs and early career researchers (less than 10 years from graduation), depending on the number of applicants and funding available.

Required Application Materials

Applications for travel support should include a cover letter, which includes a brief statement of the nature of your interest in the subject and your current academic status as well as a CV outlining your relevant experience.

Students are strongly encouraged to secure additional funding from other sources. Funds will be disbursed only in the form of reimbursements for actual expenses. A receipt is required for any expense reimbursed (e.g., airfare and hotel receipts). The reimbursement will be sent as a cheque by mail six to eight weeks after receipt of an acceptable reimbursement form and supporting receipts.
