Driver Position Objective
To pick up and deliver merchandise to and from customers in a manner that will enhance Potter's House Thrift's image and reputation, increase the store's profits and savings, improve efficiency, and result in excellent customer service.

Driver Position Responsibilities
The truck driver's responsibilities involve delivery and pickup, reporting, operations, service, safety and maintenance, and other duties as assigned by management. The truck driver will maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work within the store and a favorable image of the store.

Delivery and Pickup
Delivery and pickup involves making deliveries and pickups in the most efficient, economical and safe manner as possible.

Reporting
Reporting involves placement of completed daily pickup sheet and signed delivery sheets in the proper location, report changes in the daily schedule to person in charge of scheduling, maintaining gas log on vehicles during fill ups and informing your supervisor of problems regarding the truck.

Operations
Operations involve assisting at the store when not making deliveries or pickups.

Service
Service involves providing customer service that will result in greater sales and better reputation for the store and its employees.

Safety
Safety involves delivering orders safely and safely operating and maintaining the truck.
