Public Safety and the Puyallup Municipal Court

Welcome!

Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete this survey about your community and the Puyallup Municipal Court.

The Municipal Court is developing a community court in the city of Puyallup to address public safety concerns in our community.  Community courts are neighborhood-focused courts that use a combined strategy of holding defendants accountable while connecting them to social services to help address the root causes of crime.  A community court engages a wide array of stakeholders including residents, merchants, faith communities, and schools in an effort to promote safer, stronger, and healthier communities.

The purpose of this survey is to identify community strengths and challenges in the city, and to evaluate the community’s confidence in the criminal justice system. The questions will help planners understand the experiences of people who live, work, go to school, and visit in Puyallup. The information collected will be analyzed for trends and themes: your individual responses will remain anonymous and will not be linked to you in any way.  Your responses will help the Puyallup Community Court to better understand the needs and concerns of the community

This survey is a product of the Puyallup Municipal Court. If you have questions, please contact the planners at puyallupcommunitycourt@ci.puyallup.wa.us.  This survey has 26 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete. Please complete this survey by February 20, 2019.
