The purpose form is to encourage student participation in the event by partially funding the travel costs of students who would otherwise be unable to attend. Depending on fund availability, postdoctoral fellows and early career researchers (10 years from PhD) will also be considered for travel support.
This opportunity is possible through a grant from the Fields Institute, the National Science Foundation (US), and sponsors of the event. Note that awardees will need to pay for their expenses ahead of time and get reimbursed after the symposium. We particularly encourage the participation of women and members of underrepresented groups in the mathematical sciences.
