2019 Academic Forum: Call for Presenters

ASSP Professional Development Conference & Exposition

ASSP’s Council on Academic Affairs and Research will host the 18^th annual Academic Forum at the ASSP Professional Development Conference in New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, June 12^th, 2019. The Forum is open to all academicians and researchers in the occupational safety and health field.
New this year:

The Forum will have two tracks:
- Innovations and Teaching Tools in OSH
- OSH Research

To better meet the schedules of academicians and researchers participating in the Conference, the Forum will be on the last day of the conference (Wednesday, June 12^th) rather than the opening day.

The Forum will be positioned next to the ISOES Conference, which will run concurrently and continue for an additional day. Updates on this collaboration will be made available in the coming months.

Proposals are being accepted for either individual presentations or panel discussions.

Details & Policy

Multiple Submissions: No more than two proposals (the first two received) will be considered. Complete a separate application form for each submission.
Length of Presentation: Individual sessions last 20-30 minutes. Panels will last 60-75 minutes.
Conference Fee: Selected speakers will receive a reduced rate for Safety 2019. Travel, lodging and meal expenses are the responsibility of the speaker. Travel grants are available from the ASSP Foundation (application deadline is December 1 each year).
