What is this survey for?
This work is part of the EU funded DSI4EU project, which aims to support digital social innovation to grow and scale across Europe through research, policy, advocacy and practical support for practitioners. The Index aims to compare the
capacity of local and national ecosystems to support Digital Social Innovation (DSI) initiatives across Europe, and to provide policymakers with ideas and case studies of how they can better support DSI to thrive.
Who is this survey for?
In this survey we want to hear from all those involved in or interested in
digital social innovation, tech for good, social tech and civic tech. This includes funders, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, intermediaries, support organisations and other interested parties.
What will I be asked to do?
Through a round table event, interviews with experts and rapid literature review, we have identified 32 enabling factors which are considered important for starting, sustaining and growing DSI initiatives. These factors, or indicators, have been grouped into 7 overarching themes.
In this survey, we will ask you to
rank the 7 overarching themes in order of their importance for the creation, sustainability and growth of DSI initiatives. For each theme, we will then ask you to
rank the indicators that make up that theme. We realise that the relative importance of these factors is subjective and ranking them is not always easy. It is for this reason that we are asking for the personal views of a wide range of stakeholders. (As an added incentive, one respondent will be chosen at random to receive a voucher worth €50 for their preferred online shop or service!)
