Title: Factors Impacting Positive and Negative Outcomes in Foster Care

We are asking you to take part in this study because you are at least 21 years old and are currently (or were once) part of the Foster Care system. If this is not true, please close this tab now. You will not need to provide your name or any identifying information about yourself.
What you will do in this study: If you agree to participate in this study, you will receive a $10 prepaid Visa gift card in the mail to complete this survey designed to take about 15-20 minutes. The task will ask you to rate statements on a scale from 1-5, as well as answer several yes/no questions and multiple choice questions. If you do not feel comfortable answering a question, please skip it. No penalty will be incurred if you choose to skip a question. However, there are approximately 20 "yes/no" questions that are required in order for your results to be of any benefit to this study.
Compensation: For your participation, you will receive a $10 prepaid Visa gift card in the mail. More information about the gift card can be found at the end of the survey.
Your rights as a participant: Taking part in this survey is completely voluntary. You may stop the survey at any time with no questions asked. You are also free to skip a question without a penalty. Any questions or concerns can be directed to the researcher at WR5082@Bard.edu.
Confidentiality: Although your participation includes details regarding your personal experience in the Foster Care system, no identifying information will be required of you, and the study is completely confidential. In any report we make public, I will not include any information that will make it possible to identify you. The final thesis will be permanently and publicly available in the Bard College library and, likely, online (through the DigitalCommons) by May 28th, 2018.
