1. The JEA Scholastic Press Rights Commission has implemented a support system for advisers and students experiencing censorship and demands for prior review in scholastic media. Let us know what's happening at your school so we can inform others and provide resources. We use this system to track and help with concerns when someone other than the student editors or publication staff prevented or threatened to prevent the publication of information. This includes overt acts of censorship (requiring the removal of material); the punishment or threat of punishment to individual students, the student staff or the adviser based on choices the students make; the required review of the publication's content by someone not on the student staff.
