Basic Information

The American Society of Safety Professionals is the project manager for a variety of ANSI/ASSP safety standards. This form is NOT an application, but rather a first step in the process. By completing this survey, ASSP will look to match your skills with the standards committee(s) and/or subcommittee(s) and then send you an application.

For all standards committees, ASSP does NOT determine who is on the committee. Each application is reviewed and approved by the current standards committee members. ASSP standards development is independent from ASSP membership.
