Dance Advancement Fund: Eligibility Quiz

Dance/NYC invites eligible New York City metropolitan area dance makers with annual expense budgets between $25,000 and $1 million to submit proposals for two-year general support awards of $5,000–$15,000 annually, from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021.

Before completing the application form, interested dance makers are asked to first complete a series of questions to determine baseline eligibility for the grant program. If eligible, you will be directed to the full application link. All questions are required unless otherwise indicated.

Do you identify as a dance maker, focused on the creation and/or performance of dance?

Do you have a history of at least three years of dance making activity in the metropolitan New York City area?

Note: "metropolitan New York City area" includes the five boroughs of New York City, as well as Nassau, Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester counties in New York State, and Bergen and Hudson counties in New Jersey. *This question is required.
