It is also required that you observe in an early childhood classroom for a minimum of 30 hours. You are encouraged to arrange to be onsite to watch as the children enter the classroom and observer either 2 half days if the program is a half-day program OR one full day in a childcare program providing full day care. (This is recommended to take place after you attend the Positive Discipline for Early Childhood Educators AND finish the reading.)
