Thank you for visiting. The reason I set this survey up is that I have four cats and believe they can be as loving, caring and loyal as dogs - if not more so in some cases. However, as an Animal Management student I frequently encounter sources, articles and papers that portray cats as independent and aloof.
I decided to try and compile some evidence (albeit partly anecdotal) in support of cats as affectionate, caring and friendly pets and try and use this information to challenge some current assumptions. Thank you for your help in this ambitious, though hopefully worthwhile, project.
