For proclamations, certificates of appreciation, letters and other forms of recognition from the Mayor and City Council.

The City of North Las Vegas issues free recognitions to city residents, organizations and businesses to commemorate local achievements and raise awareness about issues of local significance. To request recognition, please complete the form below. Requests may be fulfilled through a proclamation, special certificate or letter of greeting.

Requirements:
** Recognitions are limited to North Las Vegas residents, organizations and businesses.
** All recognitions will be mailed to the requester or must be picked up at North Las Vegas City Hall during regular business hours. City Hall is located at 2250 Las Vegas Blvd. North, North Las Vegas, Nevada and is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
** Due to the number of requests received, all recognition requests must be submitted 30 days prior requested date of mailing or pick up.
** Recognitions cannot be political, ideological or controversial in nature.
** Annual proclamations will not be automatically renewed; requests must be made on a yearly basis. If a request is a repeat of a previous recognition, please include a copy of the previous recognition with the new request.
** This form must be filled out completely or your request will not be processed.

Proclamations and recognitions are provided by the North Las Vegas City Council to North Las Vegas residents, organizations and businesses to honor and celebrate people and events in the community and to increase awareness about noteworthy issues that impact residents. These public service documents are strictly honorary and are not legally binding. Recognition requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The North Las Vegas City council reserves the right to decline any request for any reason as well as the right to make exceptions to the guidelines and procedures for recognitions. Any draft language submitted may be edited or revised at the discretion of the North Las Vegas City Council. No recognition shall be used as part of an advertisement or commercial promotion without the written permission from the City of North Las Vegas. Any use of a recognition in a news release or other type of publication must be approved in writing by the City of North Las Vegas prior to publication.
