Program Description
Vital Voices and Johnson & Johnson will launch a year-long investment in ten VV100 women leaders with a bold idea. We know that many of you have an innovative idea for disrupting the status quo that has yet to be fully operationalized. You know that if realized, this idea could exponentially scale your impact, help you to grow as a leader, allow you to collaborate across sectors and borders, launch new initiatives and more. PLEASE NOTE, you can already have begun doing this work but need further support. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO START SOMETHING NEW. Through this program, Vital Voices and Johnson & Johnson will leverage our networks and resources to provide intensive, individualized support to partner with you to bring this idea to life. The most prominent element of this support will be year-long, in-depth mentorship participants receive from senior Johnson & Johnson executives, as well as access to Johnson & Johnson company expertise.
The program will kick-off with an in-person gathering, bringing together ten VV100 women leaders (mentees) and ten Johnson & Johnson senior executives (mentors) for a week-long intensive mentoring program. During the gathering, participants will have space to explore an audacious idea, and partner with Johnson & Johnson mentors to develop an action plan for implementation. Following the gathering, Johnson & Johnson mentors and Vital Voices will provide tailored follow-on support to each woman leader as they implement their action plans.
To Apply
Applicants should submit a proposal describing a bold idea for scaling your work, and the support you need to bring this idea to life. The idea can include expanding one of your current initiatives, developing a new project or product, and collaborating with other VV100 network leaders through a new partnership. The proposal should be submitted by answering the below questions. We encourage you to think big, get creative, and collaborate with other network members.
You can submit an application in collaboration with up to ONE OTHER MEMBER of other VV100 women leaders. Network members who are applying together with a collaborative project should only submit ONE application.
Please submit your application no later than THURSDAY, AUGUST 31st.
Time Commitment and Expectations
We recognize that you will have competing priorities during this program. If selected, we will work closely with you to provide support based on your capacity. However, it is important that you enter the program with a commitment to fully participating in order to get the most out of this opportunity. Participants will be expected to complete prep work for the in-person gathering, implement their action plan once they return home, and maintain regular contact with Vital Voices and their Johnson & Johnson mentor over the course of the program. Please consider these factors before submitting your application.
