Advocacy is one of the most important services we provide to our members. The NRPA Public Policy Team works every day to represent the cause of local community parks and recreation at the federal level by fighting for funding and legislation that improves access to open space and recreational opportunities for all people. We’re proud to serve as the public policy voice for the industry in our Nation’s Capital.
The start of 2017 will bring significant changes to the political landscape in Washington. What these changes will ultimately mean for key policy priorities is not clear at this point in time, but we do know that your participation in the process is more important than ever! Change also represents opportunity and that is why we want to know exactly what’s on your mind as we craft our policy agenda for the coming year.
The following is a brief advocacy priorities survey, which will help us develop our legislative and policy platform for the 115th Congress and Trump Administration starting in January. Please take a few minutes to provide your input which is so valuable to the process. We thank you for your assistance and look forward to working on your behalf to advance NRPA's policy priorities in 2017 and beyond.
The survey closes on January 13, 2017.
