Preliminaries

The Travel Leaders IT department will not pay for any incidental costs associated with this website project, which would include the cost of a domain name, stand-alone websites hosted outside of our Multisite platform, commercial plugins or themes or any PHP customization. Please complete the following so that any incidental costs will be paid for by the correct TL Business Unit assuming the cost for this project.

There are complicated procedures to point an existing domain for an existing website to a new website at a different hosting location. Does the website project include an existing website using the domain name you want to use for this project? Please record your answers below.

IMPORTANT: When pointing the domain name for an existing website to a new website, the existing and new website will intermittently disappear from public view for a minimum period of 24-48 hours. Domain name record changes and SSL setup procedures generally take 2-4 days to complete.

Please advise your client, before you begin the project, that this is a normal part of launching a new website that uses an existing domain name.

Hosting Space Request

All projects are built on our “Multisite” platform so they can be managed as a group. Stand-alone sites require a quote and will incur an annual fee to manage.

This is a reminder that we are using the “Multisite” version of WordPress and that packing up your website and moving it to a different hosting server using “Duplicator” is no longer possible. If you will be moving your website project, we recommend that you build your project at the hosting service you will eventually be using and not build it on our platform.
This is a reminder that no credit card information or other information requiring a "PCI compliant" hosting environment can be collected or passed by this website.

WordPress Plugins

There is large assortment of plugins pre-installed and available for your use. Any additional plugins will need to be vetted and approved. Please send a separate request to tlwp@travelleaders.com for any additional plugins to be reviewed and considered for inclusion.

Large File Server Space

If you will be publishing any files over 450 KB, you will need to publish them to our eBooks server and link to them on this server (and not your WordPress server). Please send a separate request to tlwp@travelleaders.com to have an eBooks server account setup for this website.
