Welcome to this 'lip-reading' experiment. With your help, we are investigating how well people can 'read' speech from an animation.
After some brief background questions, you will be shown some animations of the tongue and mouth, and asked some questions about these animations.
Finally you will have the opportunity to give feedback about one animation developed at Saarland University.
In sum, this should take about 30 minutes, and there is an opportunity to continue 10 minutes longer if you enjoy the task.
Note: Please make sure you are using Firefox or Chrome on a computer (not a mobile device!) for this experiment with Javascript enabled, else the animations may not display properly.
