MILITARY
Regional Transportation District (RTD) parking facilities is available only to transit patrons that are currently on active military duty in Colorado, and reside within the RTD service area, but whose vehicle has license plates registered to an address located outside the boundaries of the RTD service area and would, otherwise, be subject to out-of-District parking fees when parked at an RTD parking facility where parking fees apply. If this application is approved, it applies only to the current term of active duty and must be renewed by the applicant for subsequent terms. An exempt vehicle is treated as an In-District vehicle, not subject to daily charges, but is subject to parking charges after 24 hours. All fees and violations prior to approval of this application are the responsibility of the applicant. Approval/denial will be sent within 24 hours of submission of this application, after Military ID has been presented, see below. 1. Proof of In District residency, first page of a lease agreement, utility bill with your name and address it: *This question is required.
You will be required to present your Military ID. Please call 303-299-2900 to setup an appointment to present Military ID.
You must continue to pay "out" of district rates until you get confirmation you have been approved. You will also be responsible for ANY violations you received before the exemption is in effect.
