A 45 minute briefing designed to inform and teach participants about the types of communication and how they contribute to a “crazy-making” interaction. By the end of the workshop, participants will have the tools to engage with colleagues and clients with ease and clarity. In this workshop, we will define and discern the difference between four types of communication: Avoidance, Passive-Aggressive, Aggressive, Assertive. Using role-play and group problem solving, each of the four types of communication will be illustrated using scenarios provided by participants. Join us for a fast-paced, informative and yes, fun look at how communication styles make you crazy. We promise a one-page handout and plenty of chocolate! Registration required.
